A Delhi-based presiding officer, Shiv Kumar-I of DRT-3 Delhi, has been given additional charge of the Debts Recovery Tribunal-II in Chandigarh for six months starting February 14, 2026, to prevent a complete shutdown of the tribunal system in the region. The Punjab and Haryana High Court was informed of this temporary arrangement, which will last until a regular officer is appointed or further orders are issued. The court emphasized the need for a permanent incumbent, noting the arrangement's temporary nature and the possibility of repeating it after six months.
