Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi appeared before the mythological court of King Kansa at the Dhanu Yatra festival in Bargarh. During the 11-day event, Bargarh transforms into Mathura, with Kansa's word being law. Majhi presented a development report card to Kansa, outlining projects and grants, and also announced efforts to promote the festival for UNESCO recognition. The festival, a significant cultural symbol of western Odisha, reenacts the Krishna Leela.
