Assam's economy has grown by 45% between 2020-2025, significantly outpacing the national average of 29%, according to Reserve Bank of India data cited by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The state will participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos. Sarma also highlighted improvements in law and order, with a decrease in registered criminal cases and an increase in conviction rates. The Chief Minister also announced infrastructure projects and the formation of the 8th State Pay Commission.
