Tamil Nadu Distributes Laptops to College Students to Support Education

Tamil Nadu's government is distributing laptops to college students to support higher education and digital skills development. Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin urged students to use the laptops for studies rather than entertainment. In Salem, over 1,400 students received laptops as part of the 'Ulagam Ungal Kaiyil' scheme, which aims to provide 10 lakh laptops statewide. Officials highlighted the state's focus on education and welfare programs contributing to overall development.
