Telangana's Leader of the Opposition, K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), made a rare appearance in the Assembly after his party's 2023 election loss. His brief presence, including a handshake with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, aimed to boost BRS morale amidst recent panchayat election successes for Congress and upcoming municipal polls. KCR had been absent from the Assembly for two years, during which his party lost several MLAs to the ruling Congress.
