Seat-sharing negotiations between the BJP and the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena for the Mahayuti alliance in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar have again failed to reach a conclusion. After nearly five hours of talks, disagreements persisted over approximately 10 seats, leading to the matter being escalated to the top leadership of both parties. While a 50-50 seat distribution was discussed, the BJP did not agree to the Shiv Sena's proposal to retain seats won previously. A final decision now rests with senior party officials.
