Dharavi Redevelopment Project Issues Final Notice for Pending Resident Documents

The Dharavi Redevelopment Project (DRP) Slum Rehabilitation Authority under Maharashtra's government has issued final notices to residents who have yet to submit documents for the eligibility survey, allowing a 15-day deadline. Over 91,000 units have completed the survey, while around 24,000 remain incomplete due to missing documents or absence of household heads, and nearly 13,000 units have not participated. Multiple outreach efforts have been made, and eligibility assessments will proceed based on available records if documents are not submitted. The project aims for a transparent and inclusive redevelopment process with time-bound implementation.
