Haridwar Police has formed a seven-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe cases against Urmila Sanawar, who claims to be the second wife of former MLA Suresh Rathore. Sanawar released videos alleging Rathore's involvement in the Ankita murder case. Rathore's wife has filed a complaint alleging threat to his life from Sanawar and seeking security. Rathore, who is also a religious leader, has been summoned by police in a separate case, with his wife seeking an extension for his appearance.
