The Delhi government has appointed district magistrates and other administrative officers to newly organized districts, increasing the total number of revenue districts from 11 to 13. Three new districts—Old Delhi, Central North, and Outer North—have been created, while Shahdara district has been merged. The appointments include AGMUT cadre IAS officers and DANICS officers for roles such as District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate across the reorganized areas.
