Bangladesh's Election Commission has approved the voter registration of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman and his daughter, weeks before the February 12 general election. However, questions have been raised by the Awami League regarding the legality of adding a new voter after the election schedule announcement and the EC's functioning on a weekend.
