Maharashtra LPG Shortage Dispute: Officials Deny Crisis Amid Reports of Supply Issues

Maharashtra faces reported LPG cylinder shortages affecting households, small industries, and restaurants, with business operations slowing and workforce reductions in areas like Pune, Baramati, Daund, and Indapur. NCP MP Supriya Sule and Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray criticized the state and central governments for denying the shortage and urged transparency and action. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and some officials denied any shortage, attributing long queues to panic and misinformation.
