Shimla DC Confirms No Fuel Shortage Amid LPG Supply Concerns, Addresses Airport Management

Shimla Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap stated there is no shortage of LPG, petrol, or diesel in the district despite national supply concerns linked to the West Asia conflict. On March 13, 14 vehicles carrying LPG cylinders were dispatched across subdivisions, with over 8,300 domestic cylinders currently available. Kashyap urged residents to avoid hoarding and emphasized priority supply to hospitals and schools. He also chaired a meeting addressing airport area cleanliness and wildlife management near Shimla airport, including leopard capture efforts and construction regulations.
