Indian Army Signals Stronger Response If Operation Sindoor Is Repeated

Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, Western Army Commander, stated that if India faces another conflict similar to last year's Operation Sindoor, the response will be stronger and could extend beyond terror camps to Pakistani territory. Operation Sindoor, launched in May 2023 after a terror attack in Pahalgam, targeted terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Katiyar emphasized Pakistan's use of proxy forces and noted that Pakistan sought ceasefire not only from India but also from other countries following the operation.
