The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has commenced blacktopping on key sections of the Sansari Nala-Killar-Thirot-Tandi (SKTT) road in the Pangi valley. This strategic 140 km route, vital for connectivity, is undergoing upgrades by Project Deepak. Approximately 23 km of the Madgran-Tindi stretch has seen 8 km blacktopped, with further work planned on the Purthi to Killar section. BRO officials emphasize their commitment to providing all-weather infrastructure in challenging terrains, a development welcomed by local residents as a historic improvement after decades of neglect.
