Meghalaya MLAs Tour New Shillong Township and Launch City Bus Pilot

Meghalaya MLAs set aside their official cars to tour the New Shillong Township by bus, where Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma showcased key infrastructure projects including the new secretariat and legislative assembly building. The event marked the Budget Session's conclusion and aimed to foster a shared vision for the state's development. Sangma also launched 15 modern city buses under the 'Ka Bos jong ngi' initiative to improve Shillong's public transport, featuring GPS, air-conditioning, and digital ticketing, with a month-long trial planned for public feedback.
