Karnataka Minister Orders Faster Integration of 28 Services to Boost Ease of Doing Business

Karnataka's Industries and Infrastructure Minister MB Patil directed officials to expedite the integration of 28 pending services across departments including Revenue, Forest, Home, Environment, Primary Education, Fire Services, and Energy under the Single Window System. With 115 services already integrated, the government aims to enhance ease of doing business by reducing approval timelines, such as cutting Fire Department NOC processing from 60 to 21 days and electricity connection approvals from 25 to 10 days. Patil emphasized swift clearances to attract investment amid challenges posed by rapid AI advancements.
