SAD Factions Hold Hola Mohalla Rallies Emphasizing Punjab Politics and Panthic Unity

On the eve of Hola Mohalla in Anandpur Sahib, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) breakaway factions held separate rallies emphasizing Panthic unity and Punjab-centric politics ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. SAD (Punar Surjit) avoided discussing internal reform proposals like 'one family, one ticket' during their rally but reaffirmed commitment to the Anandpur Sahib Resolution and demanded immediate SGPC elections. Leaders criticized the ruling AAP government for alleged misgovernance and called for greater Sikh justice and regional autonomy. SAD (Badal) did not hold a rally, with its president visiting the site privately.
