Banerjee claimed the Election Commission is manipulating electoral rolls, calling it 'vote theft,' and accused the EC of selectively targeting West Bengal. He questioned the deletion of nearly 58 lakh voters and the introduction of new categories like 'logical discrepancies.' The TMC stated they would not accept the final voter list if it contains discrepancies and demanded transparency from the EC.
