Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the second phase of Lucknow's Green Corridor, spanning Daliganj to Samatamulak Chauraha, and laid foundations for the third and fourth phases. The 28-km corridor aims to improve urban connectivity and reduce travel time from 30 to 10 minutes. While officials highlight its potential to ease traffic, concerns have been raised about possible congestion at several intersections along the route. The project’s total estimated cost exceeds Rs 1,600 crore, with plans to monetize land parcels to fund development.
