The Haryana cabinet has approved amendments to the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, expanding its scope. Eligible women from families with an annual income up to Rs 1 lakh will continue to receive Rs 2,100 monthly. The scheme now also benefits mothers of children scoring over 80% in Classes 10 and 12, or those achieving NIPUN Bharat Mission competency. Additionally, mothers who have rehabilitated children from malnutrition will be included. The monthly payment will be split, with a portion directly credited and another deposited in a government account for up to five years.
