Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the new Commissioner of Police building and the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in Guwahati. The ICCC, part of a city surveillance system, cost Rs. 181 crore and includes advanced data facilities and 2,000 surveillance cameras to enhance urban safety and law enforcement. Shah also launched 39 mobile forensic vans to bolster scientific crime investigation in Assam.
