
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has directed officials and ministers to prioritize quality in infrastructure projects under the Chief Minister's Infrastructure Development Programme (CMIDP). With ₹8,666.50 crore allocated for 2025-26, he emphasized timely completion of tender processes by January 10, 2026, and regular monitoring of work quality. The CM also stressed the importance of land acquisition for railway projects and timely commencement of several key lines across the state.
