The CBI has booked Nisheeth Kohli, a Delhi resident, for allegedly misusing the names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Principal Secretary P.K. Mishra. Kohli sent emails to various Indian agencies, including ISRO, HAL, and DRDO, as well as the Pentagon and the US Navy, claiming he had the PM's blessings to develop an indigenous military jet engine. The FIR was registered following a complaint from the PMO after a preliminary inquiry found evidence of impersonation and misuse of official names for professional purposes.
