Ranveer Singh Seeks Karnataka High Court Relief in Kantara Mimicry FIR Case

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has approached the Karnataka High Court seeking to quash an FIR filed against him for allegedly mocking the sacred Daiva tradition depicted in the film Kantara during the 2025 International Film Festival of India. The FIR, registered following a complaint by advocate Prashanth Methal, alleges that Singh's mimicry and remarks hurt religious sentiments.
