This comes amid escalating tensions after the STC seized these regions, pushing out Saudi-aligned forces. Saudi Arabia has reportedly conducted airstrikes against STC positions, with the Saudi ambassador accusing the STC leader of hindering mediation efforts. The STC states their aim is to protect progress against Houthis and integrate forces.
