Over 35 Kashmiri students have safely returned to India from Iran amid unrest, traveling on two commercial flights via Shiraz and Tehran. The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) stated that the students funded their own travel and have returned to their native places. Indian Embassy officials in Tehran are assisting remaining students, with formal government evacuation operations currently on hold. The JKSA and Ministry of External Affairs continue coordinating with Iranian authorities, reporting that students still in Iran are safe as the situation stabilizes.
