Himachal Pradesh to Invite Rs 100 Crore Tenders for Direct Medicine Procurement

This initiative aims to supply quality drugs to government health institutions statewide. The government may amend the Drugs Act to ensure medicine quality and has directed officials to maintain strict standards and procure medicines for Jan Aushadhi outlets directly from pharmaceutical companies, enhancing healthcare reforms in the state.
