MP CM Transfers Rs 1,836 Crore to Women Under Ladli Behna Yojana, Launches Development Projects

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav transferred Rs 1,836 crore to over 1.25 crore women under the Ladli Behna Yojana, marking the 34th installment of the scheme aimed at providing Rs 1,500 monthly financial assistance. Launched in 2023, the program has disbursed around Rs 52,000 crore to beneficiaries so far. During the event in Gwalior, Yadav inaugurated and laid foundations for 54 development projects worth about Rs 121 crore, emphasizing women's economic empowerment and countering opposition claims that the scheme was an election gimmick.
