Delhi High Court Restrains Unauthorised Use of Ramdev's Name and Image

The Delhi High Court has issued an interim order restraining the unauthorised use of Yoga guru Ramdev's name, image, voice, and other personality attributes across all media, including AI-generated and deepfake content. Justice Jyoti Singh noted that such misappropriation, especially in videos and social media portraying Ramdev endorsing products or cures, infringes on his rights and could harm his public image and credibility. The court directed removal of offending content within 72 hours and barred defendants from further exploitation until the next hearing.
