
The Kerala government announced compensation for shop owners and entrepreneurs affected by the Mundakkai-Chooralmala landslide in Wayanad on July 30, 2024. Enterprises can claim up to 50% of losses, capped at Rs 20 lakh for manufacturing, Rs 10 lakh for services, and Rs 7 lakh for trade businesses. Funds will come from the Chief Minister's Disaster Relief Fund, with distribution overseen by the Wayanad District Collector to aid recovery.
