Taiwan Reports Multiple Chinese PLA Aircraft Sorties and Naval Activity Near Its Territory

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence reported detecting 28 to 30 sorties of Chinese PLA aircraft, including J-10, J-16, and KJ-500 types, with 22 sorties crossing the median line into Taiwan's northern, central, and southwestern air defense identification zones (ADIZ). Additionally, 5 to 6 PLA naval vessels operated near Taiwan's territorial waters. Taiwan's armed forces monitored and responded to these activities. Japan criticized China's export restrictions on Japanese firms amid rising tensions over Taiwan, with Tokyo viewing a potential Chinese attack on Taiwan as a serious security concern.
