The Telangana High Court fined the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Protection Agency (HYDRAA) Rs 1 lakh daily for erecting fences on two private plots in Mallapur without following due legal process. The court noted that the plots, each measuring 500 square yards, were declared the absolute property of two women by the trial court, which also ordered removal of walls constructed by authorities. HYDRAA was directed to remove the fencing immediately or face daily fines until compliance.
