Himachal CM Orders Release of Pending Contractor Payments and Continuation of Social Security Pensions

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has directed the Finance Department to release approximately Rs 225 crore in pending payments to contractors with bills up to Rs 20 lakh, aiming to support small and medium contractors and ensure ongoing development projects continue smoothly. He also instructed officials to maintain uninterrupted social security pensions for all eligible beneficiaries, emphasizing completion of formalities to include all deserving individuals. Additionally, the government is supporting welfare schemes for children, including the Mukhya Mantri Sukh Aashray Yojna, with allocated funds and initiatives for their development.
