The Delhi government has mandated all private schools to form School Level Fee Regulation Committees (SLFRCs) by January 10, 2026, implementing the Delhi School Education (Transparency in Fixation and Regulation of Fees) Act, 2025. These committees, comprising school management, principal, teachers, parents, and Directorate of Education nominees, will review fee proposals within 30 days. This initiative aims to ensure transparency, accountability, and timely decisions in fee fixation, safeguarding parents' interests against arbitrary hikes. Schools must submit proposals by January 25 for the 2025-26 academic session.
