Four Former Punjab Leaders Join BJP Ahead of 2027 Assembly Elections

Ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, four prominent leaders joined the BJP, including former Faridkot MP Jagmeet Singh Brar, his brother Ripjit Singh Brar, former Shiromani Akali Dal leader Charanjit Singh Brar, and Onkar Singh, ex-OSD to CM Bhagwant Mann. Their induction, attended by senior BJP leaders and Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, is seen as strengthening BJP's presence in Muktsar and Malwa regions.
