EU Commissioner Highlights US Missile Supply Limits and Urgent Need for European Production

EU Defence Commissioner Andrius Kubilius stated that the US cannot supply enough missiles to meet the demands of Gulf states, Ukraine, and its own military amid escalating conflicts involving Iran. He highlighted Europe's urgent need to increase production of air defence and anti-ballistic missiles, noting Ukraine alone requires about 700 Patriot PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles for the winter, equivalent to a year's US production. The situation underscores a critical challenge for European missile manufacturing capacity.
