The Uttarakhand government and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding under the 'Swasth Seema Abhiyan' to enhance healthcare in 108 border villages across Pithoragarh, Chamoli, and Uttarkashi districts. ITBP will deploy medical staff, establish telemedicine and medical inspection facilities, and maintain health records, while the state government will supply demographic data, medical equipment, and ensure regular medicine availability. The initiative aims to improve primary healthcare access in remote areas bordering China and Nepal.
