Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Responds to Congress Criticism of VB-G RAM G Act

Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan accused Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge of spreading misinformation about the new VB-G RAM G Act, which replaces MGNREGA. He stated the Act strengthens the Right to Work by increasing guaranteed employment from 100 to 125 days and introducing unemployment allowances. The Congress launched a nationwide campaign demanding the withdrawal of VB-G RAM G and restoration of MGNREGA as a rights-based law, opposing changes to panchayat authority and employment provisions.
