
Union Home Minister Amit Shah concluded a day-long visit to Assam, inaugurating several key infrastructure, cultural, and security projects. His itinerary included the redevelopment of Batadrava Than in Nagaon, the new Guwahati Police Commissionerate building, an Integrated Command and Control System (ICCS) for city security, and the Jyoti Bishnu Cultural Complex. Shah also paid homage to martyrs of the Assam movement and addressed a public rally. The visit, initially delayed by fog, was marked by the Chief Minister's emphasis on growth and cultural renaissance for the state.
