Akhilesh Yadav Alleges Voter List Manipulation During Uttar Pradesh Electoral Roll Revision

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has accused the BJP of manipulating Uttar Pradesh's electoral rolls through the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), alleging it is a disguised National Register of Citizens (NRC) exercise aimed at creating fake voters. Yadav warned of FIRs against those involved in irregularities and circulated draft FIR formats to party workers for monitoring. He also criticized the BJP government for alleged corruption and illegal land occupation, urging party workers to intensify efforts ahead of the 2027 assembly elections.
