TMC MP Mamata Bala Thakur and Former MP Mausam Noor Face Contempt Allegations in Rajya Sabha

Trinamool Congress MP Mamata Bala Thakur and former MP Mausam Noor, now with Congress, face allegations of contempt of Parliament for protesting the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Bill, 2025, during the Rajya Sabha winter session on December 18-19. BJP members raised complaints about their conduct, including obstructing proceedings and using unparliamentary language. The Rajya Sabha Secretariat has referred the matter to the Chairman for investigation under Rule 203.
