The Supreme Court dismissed the Centre's appeal against the Delhi High Court's order lifting the suspension on Defsys Solutions' business with the government in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper case. The CBI informed the court it found no fresh adverse evidence against Defsys after a 12-year investigation. The court noted that with the principal offender, AgustaWestland, given reprieve, there was no basis to proceed against Defsys. The company may seek redressal from the Defence Ministry.
