President Murmu to Fly Indigenous LCH Prachand, Attend IAF's Vayu Shakti Exercise

President Droupadi Murmu, the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces, arrived in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, to attend the Indian Air Force's Vayu Shakti-2026 firepower demonstration. On Friday, she is scheduled to fly a sortie in the indigenously developed Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) Prachand, designed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for diverse terrains and high-altitude operations. The event includes a display of coordinated military exercises near the India-Pakistan border, with tight security measures in place.
