The United Kingdom launched the 'Visa Fraud Se Bache' campaign in Haryana to protect Indian nationals from risks related to visa fraud and irregular migration. The initiative, supported by the Haryana government, targets Ambala, Kaithal, Karnal, and Kurukshetra districts. It includes outreach efforts and a WhatsApp chatbot to help prospective travellers identify visa scam warning signs, such as false guarantees of visas or employment and misinformation about English-language test requirements. Haryana is the third Indian state to host this campaign, following Punjab and Tamil Nadu.
