India Criticizes Pakistan at UN Over Jammu and Kashmir and Self-Determination Claims

At the UN General Assembly, India criticized Pakistan for repeatedly raising the Jammu and Kashmir issue, calling it an unwarranted reference and accusing Pakistan of misusing the right to self-determination to promote secession. Indian Counsellor Eldos Mathew Punnoose emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and urged Pakistan to avoid baseless allegations. He also highlighted the need for focused action on Global South development challenges discussed at the UN.
