Jammu and Kashmir Adds 1.60 Lakh Voters, Deletes 67,690 Entries in Roll Revision

Jammu and Kashmir's recent special summary revision of electoral rolls added over 1.60 lakh voters, deleted 67,690 entries, and made 2.29 lakh corrections. Jammu district had the highest deletions, including duplicate and shifted entries, while Srinagar recorded the most additions. The total electorate now stands at approximately 87.4 lakh, with efforts underway to promote full voter enrolment, especially among youth, women, and marginalized groups.
