
Following the deaths of nine people in Indore due to suspected contaminated water, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has ordered the state government to provide free medical care to all affected individuals. The court has also requested a detailed status report from the government on the situation in the Bhagirathpura area, with a deadline of January 2. The PIL filed by the Indore High Court Bar Association President highlighted concerns over the supply of clean drinking water to residents, noting that victims, primarily elderly and infants, suffered kidney failure from bacterial infections.
