Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district have recommended the suspension of an Arabic lecturer for allegedly directing the construction of a prayer platform on the roof of a government higher secondary school. Officials stated the lecturer, Munnawar Hussain, was prima facie found responsible for the construction. The chief education officer visited the school following protests by locals demanding action against Hussain, who has been directed to report to the chief education officer's office.
