Discussions focused on the evolving West Asia conflict, regional stability, and India's energy security, as the Strait of Hormuz remains strategically significant. Jaishankar's outreach also aims to build consensus within the BRICS grouping, which recently expanded to include Iran and the UAE, despite differing positions on the conflict.
