S. Suresh Kumar, a 70-year-old BJP MLA and former Minister from Rajajinagar, has completed a 702 km cycling expedition from Bengaluru to Kanyakumari with a 15-member team. This journey marks a significant personal achievement for Kumar, who recovered from severe neurological complications caused by chikungunya encephalopathy. He views cycling as a meditative practice that boosted his confidence and helped him regain fitness after months of recovery. The expedition also held personal significance as it commemorated his earlier visit to Kanyakumari 50 years prior.
